The A-Level Orchestra is the performance-level ensemble of Pastoral Symphony, aimed at players with some foundation. Unlike the B-Level Orchestra (for beginners with no prior experience), members of the A-Level Orchestra must have basic music reading ability and instrumental performance skills, enabling them to independently present pieces. First Rehearsal Procedure 18:30 Instrumental Showcase for New Players Each new player prepares one piece and performs it live in front of the entire ensemble. After the showcase, the instructor will assign seating based on actual skill level—regardless of age or experience, based solely on today's performance. 19:00 Section Assignment and Seating Confirmation Based on the showcase results, determine the arrangement and seating for each section. 19:15 Ensemble Rehearsal Professor Tian Yuan leads ensemble training, from sectional coordination to overall collaboration. 20:15 Rehearsal Summary Review key points of today's rehearsal and assign practice tasks for home. Don't be nervous; just play the piece you are most confident in. Orchestra Rules Public welfare does not mean laxity; free does not mean lack of seriousness. Five core rules of the Pastoral Symphony Youth Orchestra: Punctuality — Arrive 10 minutes early to tune and warm up; being late makes the entire section wait for you. No Absences — No leave without a compelling reason; last-minute cancellations or post-hoc excuses are not acceptable. Parents Wait Outside the Rehearsal Hall — Rehearsal is between the children and the conductor; leave the space to the children. The nearby Changfazhan shopping mall is available for parents to visit while waiting. Music Folder and Scores — Bring your own music folder; scores are distributed uniformly. Take them home after rehearsal for practice and bring them back next time. Bring Your Own Music Stand — The Jinyu International rehearsal site has a limited number of stands; please bring your own.
