Introduction to the Idyllic Symphony Children's Orchestra
Our story: an orchestra of "three generations"
**First Generation**
Tian Yuan
Artistic Director / Composer-in-Residence / Orchestra Conductor
Retired professor from the Music Department of Beihua University, served as department head for over 30 years. His students are spread across major orchestras and music conservatories, including Qian Lei, composer of "Lonely Warrior." After retirement, he became the orchestra's artistic director, arranging pieces and conducting for children.
**Second Generation**
Tian Lifu
Founder / Orchestra Director
Graduate of Beijing Normal University, 15 years in finance, education blogger with 200,000 followers online. Having seen too many gimmicks in music training, he resolved to create something different: enabling children from ordinary families to access quality music education.
**Third Generation**
Matthew
Cellist
Studies cello and has performed in orchestra concerts. His growth experience is the best testament to the orchestra's teaching philosophy: music is companionship, not a burden.
